For the second time, I had the opportunity to join in a photographer/model meet up in Windsor, ON.
We spent a couple of nights with another cousin in eastern New York state. For one evening we took a dinner cruise on Lake George. Good food. Good views. Great company.
Next on our trip was a drive through New Brunswick, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. We stayed in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and hunted for water falls and covered bridges.
Like so many did this year, we travelled to the east coast this summer. We spent a couple of days with my cousin in Nova Scotia. Our day sight seeing was mostly bright blue sky and mild to hot temperatures. Later in the day, at Peggy's Cove, the sky got some character.
Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland, independantly successful musicians and husband and wife duo are Whitehorse. Playing in London, ON at the Aeolian Hall, they brought out their son to help with the encore.
I had to drive along the north shore of Lake Erie recently. It was a very cold and windy day and I stopped at the property in both directions. The house has been abandoned for as long as I can remember it. Sadly, she's showing her age now. It is expected that she will collapse in the very short term. So while I've taken her portrait several times, this could be my last. Just look at the wall on the right hand side - it's not really there. She's often referred to as the most photographed abandoned buildings in south-western Ontario.
What a terrific concert. Sam Taylor (guitar) and his wife, Mia (piano), are from the Aylmer area. Steve Grant was on the harmonica. Ben Graffam was on drums. Drew Danko was playing his ripper bass guitar. They played a fantastic show of Chicago Blues, both originals and cover tunes.
