In mid-September, we had a Harvest Moon and lunar eclipse on the same evening. A quick trip to Port Bruce for the moon-rise. I left the eclipse to those who could stay up later than me.
I like my moon-rise shot as it shows the number a wind turbines along the north shore of Lake Erie. The second shot is just interesting due to its cloud formations.
My friends who stayed for the eclipse said they were disappointed which made me feel better about skipping out on rare event.
