Iceland V
Back closer to the capital the tourists become plentiful again. But that's reasonable. The scenery along the Golden Circle was amazing.

So the first night we see the northern lights was fantastic. I would have been content if that was the end of it.

Over the next few days were traded rain for snow and ice. No problem as we only had to drive through mountain passes. But still, the scenery was other worldly.

Iceland I
What can I say? Iceland was colder than Ontario for the beginning of November. Days were shorter. Winds were stronger. Waterfalls more plentiful. Great vistas were turn after turn. Biggest problem were all the tourists. Oh ya, thank goodness for studded tires.

Detroit
Over a year ago a friend invited me join him and some other photographers for a day in Detroit. Well it was late July, temperatures were well into the 30's and of course it was humid. No worries we stayed inside shooting a great Art Deco building of the 1920's, The Fisher Building. After a mid-afternoon bite, we walked over to Greektown where we spent most of the rest of the day shooting in the late afternoon and evening.
