 I can usually cull my shots down considerably.  Having shot this band previously, I expected not have that problem.  I got it down to 19 images.

A lifer for me - Red Throated Loon - in non-breeding plumage

 I learned of this loner bird that was spending a long time at Pt Rowan.  During my first visit, this loon was hanging around a Common Loon.  It is considerably smaller and holds its beak upward.  On my second visit, I spent an hour with it.  After a short while, its curiosity got the better of it, swimming and feeding up close.  And yes, at this time of year, there is no red throat.

 It wouldn't be March without a few trips to watch the swans.  This year, I aimed for a different result.  Late afternoon sunshine and early evening moon.
